This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
